The design at home and abroad is blooming, the display effect is gratifying

A total of 55 outstanding design companies / organizations from 8 countries / regions including the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, France, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Mainland China participated in the PDC design show, covering smart equipment, household appliances, and electronic products , Sanitary ware, hardware tools, large-scale transportation, and other fields, services include gorgeous design, visual communication, design consulting, brand strategy, environmental design, etc., rich and high-quality design resources provide manufacturers and buyers at home and abroad Rich and diverse docking options.

During the period, 51 design companies received a total of 8143 customer business cards that came to consult in the booth. According to feedback, 40.5% of them are expected to be converted into intent orders (part of the site has been transacted). Design companies generally reflect that the exhibitors achieved the expected results, and some even exceeded expectations.

The Italian AMV design company that participated for the first time was very satisfied with the effect of the exhibition. General Manager Antonio Pinato told the editor that he had been visiting the Canton Fair for 10 years. In the past, he directly went to the production company booth to promote his design services. In this way, the company has established cooperation with more than 30 Canton Fair manufacturers. This time I participated in the Canton Fair as a design exhibitor and set up my own booth on the main aisle. In addition to consolidating the relationship with the old customers, I also established new contacts with many domestic and foreign manufacturers. In just 3 days, I received nearly 30 Consultation on design services for transportation and machinery, most of which have strong cooperation intentions.

South Korea's JDW Industrial Design Company has participated in the PDC design show for 7 consecutive years. Currently, 80% of the company's business comes from China. Four smart projectors designed for Chengdu Ximi Technology have been put on the market, and the response has been very good. One of them won the 2017 IF Design Award. Ricky, the general manager of JDW Asia, told the editor that in addition to Chinese companies, they also received design service consultations from foreign buyers at the Canton Fair, and an Egyptian drinking fountain manufacturer has reached cooperation with them.

Foshan Hongyi Design participated in the PDC design exhibition for 5 consecutive years and established good cooperation with many home appliance companies through the Canton Fair platform. In 2016, it conducted in-depth strategic cooperation with Zhongshan Meisu Electrical Appliances, an exhibitor of the Canton Fair, conducted in-depth research on the personal electric cooker market, planned and designed the Meisu small N pot products, and obtained good market feedback. In the year when the product was put on the market, the sales volume of the US-Su small N pot exceeded 80 million yuan, which was very popular among consumers.

Continuous design activities, creating a feast of thinking

In this issue of PDC, a total of 12 design forums and design wisdom events were held, and the forum model was innovated to create a brand-new 'Quick Enjoy' forum and new product launch conference.

On April 16, PDC teamed up with China Minmetals Chemicals Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and Kingdom of the Netherlands Consulate General in Guangzhou to hold a 'Dutch Design X Made in China' matchmaking meeting. He gave keynote speeches from various angles, brought the most cutting-edge design innovation thinking to the production enterprises, and promoted the integration of excellent design and Chinese manufacturing.

On April 18th, PDC and the International Intelligent Innovation Association held the 'Global Innovation, Linked Value' Summit Forum, inviting industry experts in China's intelligent and intelligent manufacturing field to share the road of China's intelligent technology innovation and provide impetus for the technological innovation of production enterprises.
