From June 3rd to June 12th, 2019, the PDC visiting team went to Hungary, Belgium and the Czech Republic to carry out the Canton Fair Product Design and Trade Promotion Center (PDC) promotion and investment promotion work. The person in charge of the working group introduced the trade and information service function of Canton Fair, an efficient and high-quality platform, and the PDC main business section as a useful supplement to the service trade function of Canton Fair at the promotion conferences in three countries.
On the morning of June 4, the promotion meeting jointly organized by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hungarian-Chinese Economic Chamber of Commerce was successfully held in Budapest. Secretary Feng Chun attended the meeting. In his speech, Thomas pointed out that the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the largest chamber of commerce in Hungary, and the Hungarian-Chinese branch is the largest branch, dedicated to assisting Hungarian SMEs to develop the Chinese market. The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will actively encourage and support trade between Hungarian companies and China, and promote mutual benefit and win-win results.
On the morning of June 6, the promotion meeting hosted by the PDC and undertaken by the Bi China Economic and Trade Commission was successfully held in Brussels. The chairman of the Bi China Economic and Trade Commission attended the event. In his speech, DeWitt expressed that he hopes to use the platform of the Canton Fair to help more Belgian SMEs enter the Chinese market. The participating Belgian design institutions and SMEs have expressed great interest in the Chinese market.
On the morning of June 10, the promotion meeting hosted by the PDC and hosted by the Czech Government Association was successfully held in Prague. The chairman of the Czech Government Association Thomas said in his speech that the Chinese market has great potential and Czech design resources are rich. I hope that Czech design can use the PDC platform of the Canton Fair to develop and integrate into the Chinese market. The PDC working group also discussed in depth with the Czech Government Association the possibility of jointly establishing workstations in Central and Eastern Europe and cooperating to introduce high-quality design resources from Europe, especially the Czech Republic.
In addition to holding a promotion meeting, the working group also visited the Hungarian fashion and design agencies, the Belgium Wallonia-Brussels design and fashion agencies, the Flanders creative center, and the Czech Textile, Clothing and Leather Goods Association and other well-known local fashion designs. Organizations and associations visited the Royal Academy of Art in Antwerp to observe exhibitions and catwalks about fashion shows, broaden their horizons, and lay a solid foundation for the innovation Canton Fair Fashion Week activities.
